What I will learn?

"By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Identify key risk factors and triggers for hypoglycemia, hyperglycemia, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), and heat stroke in the Hajj setting.
2. Differentiate between metabolic emergencies and heat-related illnesses based on clinical presentation and severity.
3. Recognize early and atypical signs of deterioration in high-risk pilgrims.
4. Apply evidence-based initial management protocols in field and resource-limited environments.
5. Demonstrate appropriate triage and escalation decisions, including referral criteria.
6. Integrate preventive strategies and patient education to reduce emergency incidence during Hajj."
