Artificial intelligence plays a critical role in healthcare especially in the revenue cycle as it is streamlined, automates, and optimizes manual workflows leading to improved outcomes, lower costs, and enhanced smoother revenue cycle management. In the efforts to equip SHIMA members with up-to-date knowledge in topics related to health information management, the members of the SHIMA-CPD committee expressed the knowledge benefit to SHIMA members in Artificial Intelligence and will be the smooth transition from the previous CPD activity that covered the revenue cycle management in Healthcare. Therefore, this activity aimed to provide a brief knowledge of Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in Revenue Cycle Management to comprehend the knowledge needed in this regard.
