1- Facilitate the exchange of new information among healthcare professionals; particularly infectious diseases specialists, clinical microbiologists, infection preventionists, physicians, critical care specialists, researchers, nurses, pharmacists and trainees specializing in infectious diseases.
2- Address the challenges that are facing the diagnosis and management of covid-19 ( Their Epidemiology, risk factors, mode of transmission, clinical presentations).
3- Discuss how to implement principles of antibiotics consumption/utilization.
4- Give update on the commonest tropical fevers in KSA.
5- Discuss the update in diagnosis and treatment of fungal infection.
6- Discuss the update in diagnosing and treatment of Mycobacterial infection.
7- To review topics including new international and domestic perspectives on infection management, antimicrobial stewardship and new technologies that have been developed to improve the diagnosis of diseases.
8- Increase the awareness of the other people (Non specialized from medical & non-medical field) about these infections.
9- Translation of research and epidemiologic data into quality improvement practices toward patient safety.
