Overview
A nurse who cares for a patient with burn injuries should be knowledgeable about the physiologic changes that occur after a burn, as well as astute assessment skills to detect subtle changes in the patient’s condition additional to wound care and psychological support. This lecture is designed to assist and support nursing staff to make an optimal plan and deliver holistic care for clients with burn injuries, across all departments including Emergency, Intensive Care Unit, Burns Units.
