Critical appraisal is a systematic process used to identify the strengths and weaknesses of a research article in order to assess the usefulness and validity of research findings. After selecting an article, you must be able to sit with the article and critically appraise it. This session will help you to analyse any original study in a simple systematic approach that you can use when presenting an article at your academic day, journal club or read for your patient.
