Overview

Over the last few decades there were a lot of advancements, progress and achievements in the field of family medicine, however many challenges are facing this progress.

This meeting should stress the present situation and future of family medicine in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its different aspects (practice, quality, training, research, decision-making and planning..etc)

In addition, the rich experiences from some of the developed countries will be shared by leading experts.

We hope that discussing the advances achieved nationally and internationally with challenges faced, will help in drawing the future map of family medicine in Saudi Arabia and the region in continually changing world.

The pre/para-congress workshops will cover some of the important skill needed by the new family physician in practice, training and research.
