Overview

Aortic prosthetic valve assessment is not like native aortic valve assessment. It has lots of cavities, its evaluation needs lots of consideration like DVI, AV acceleration time and EOAI.
‌Special algorithm was designed to reach to the proper diagnosis (normal, high flow, stenotic valve, patient prosthetic mismatch) and proper management‌
‌
‌This lecture will guide you to assess AV prosthesis in well-organized steps, starting from peak velocity, DVI, AV acceleration time and EOAI. The lecture will be explained by clinical cases from our practice.‌
