تأتي أهمية تجربة المريض باعتبارها جزءًا لا يتجزأ من جودة الرعاية الصحية، ولتحسين تجربة المريض يتعيّن علينا تعيين أشخاص أكفاء لقيادة وتحسين تجربة المريض يحملون شهادة مهنية معتمدة في تجربة المريض مثل شهادة أخصائي تجربة المريض.
إن شهادة أخصائي تجربة المريض المعتمد التي يقدمها معهد تجربة المريض هي الشهادة الأشهر والوحيدة حول العالم في هذا المجال ويبلغ عدد الحاصلين حول العالم تقريباً 1400 شخص وفي المملكة العربية السعودية 16 شخص فقط.
