The conference is expected to be one of the most successful and productive events in the region in 2018 with participation of the International Society of Addiction Medicine ( ISAM ).



The theme for the conference will be "Towards a Better Mental Health for Children and Adolescents". A comprehensive three days conference has been prepared through a combined collective effort by the members of the scientific committee. 60 Participation of 60 international professors, thought leaders, academics, health practitioners, and stakeholders in a wide range of fields and disciplines will encourage exchange of knowledge, experience and best practices in the arena of child and adolescents behavioral and mental health.


The program features various addictive and psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents including early detection and diagnosis, the role of psychological, social, and family dynamics, community awareness, treatment interventions, ethical and legal issues, and preventive measures. In addition, there will be many workshops to train professionals who work with children and adolescents in clinical practice, schools, special-needs centers and other settings where services are provided to children and adolescents.


The program will allow ample opportunities for participants to connect with each other and discuss various behavioral health disorders across the region.

VMA offers a 3-day pediatric emergency crash course for interested medical interns and pediatric residents.
