The Human Microbiome & Future Challenges
Overview
Microbiomes (microbes that live inside the human body) can have a great impact on human health, so it is necessary for us to understand how complex the microbiome is, and how it can cause either our disease or our well-being.
This session will take the participant on a wonderful journey inside the human body, all the way to the gut, where each of this internal environment and the roles of the human microbiome will be reviewed.The participant will also learn about the changes his microbiome undergoes throughout his life, the role of food in those changes, as well as the daily functions of the microbiome within the digestive system. Join us in this interactive lecture to learn more about microbiomes and its effects in our life.
