Overview
"The impact of telecommunication can be obviously seen in many aspects of our daily lives. Health care system is not an exclusion in this case. Now, telecommunication technologies are enabling the delivery of health care services to patients in remote areas, and facilitate the exchange of patient’s information between health care professionals.
In this lecture, I will discuss the definition of telehealth, the history of using telehealth, and the potential benefits of transitioning from a traditional health care to a telehealth care system.
