Genetic Testing in Genomic Era
Overview
"Since the completion of “Human Genome Project” in 2003, a new genomic era has begun to revolutionize medical care. One such technology, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) has proven success in identifying the etiology of previously unknown genetic diseases.
In this lecture the speaker will highlight the different methods of diagnostic genetic testing and simplify the complicated terms as well as provide the most needed information that can help in choosing the right genetic test.
