1st Dammam Annual Medical Students Symposium (DAMSC)
Overview
It is the first medical students symposium held in the eastern province for the first time ever. Great speakers will talk about their journey in medicine and their experiences. There will be posters for the researches that students have done. We will have great workshops that will help the medical student in his clinical life.

What I will learn?
1. To emphasize the importance of everyone’s role in achieving the health aspect’s goals in the Kingdom’s vision for 2030.
2. To draw attention to some of the issues present in our medical community in order to deal with them in the most appropriate manner.
3. To spread awareness and promote healthy behavior amongst the medical students at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in specific and other Saudi universities in general.
4. To reinforce the sense of responsibility & leadership in today’s medical students who reflect the future of medicine in Saudi Arabia.
5. To promote the university’s role in developing medical students academically, ethically, and on a professional level.
6. To highlight the importance of scientific research and invention in the medical field.
7. To broaden the horizons of the average student making him/her more interested in self-development and community service.
8. To grant students who take initiative a platform to showcase the skills they developed such as leadership skills, communication skills, and teamwork.
